Our retained search methodology includes the following process:
Search Assignment Acceptance: Once an assignment has been accepted, the staff at ASI will embark upon your executive search by gathering all pertinent data regarding the client organization, including financial information, company history, goals and objectives, and qualifications necessary for successful candidates.
Research: All search assignments are thoroughly researched in order to identify where the ideal candidate for the job is currently working. Using multiple techniques, our staff will cross reference a variety of sources to ensure no avenues or candidates will be overlooked.
Candidate Contact: ASI staff prides itself on the ability of its staff to develop contact and rapport with identified executive candidates. Contact is made discreetly, professionally and with demonstrated results.
Evaluation of Candidate: The ASI staff carefully conducts an interview of each potential candidate and upon request by our retained client, will conduct face to face interviews nationwide to ensure a perfect fit between the candidate and client.
Candidate Presentation to Client: Upon the conclusion of the above process, our clients are presented with a selection of 2-4 candidates, each of whom brings very specific strengths to the position.
Negotiation: The ASI staff are adept at managing the compensation negotiation process of the entire executive package from initial candidate contact through the executive's start date, ensuring that the candidate begins his/her new management role seamlessly and comfortably.
Our fees for the retained assignment are established at 30% of the first year annual compensation of the successful candidate, excluding bonuses. In some situations, a flat fee will be considered.
